MIRAIT ONE Corporation has introduced 7 Servi Plus table-clearing robots with multi-unit coordination capabilities at the long-established inns Shiratama no Yu Kaho and Shiratama no Yu Senkei in Niigata Prefecture. The company aims to reduce table-clearing and transport work in the breakfast venues by approximately 50%.
MIRAIT ONE Corporation has introduced 7 Servi Plus transport robots with multi-unit coordination capabilities at Shiratama no Yu Kaho and Shiratama no Yu Senkei, operated by Hotel Senkei. The initiative aims to improve the efficiency of table-clearing operations in the breakfast venues and create more time for staff to provide hospitality.
The new system enables multiple robots to communicate and coordinate in real time and is equipped with high-precision sensors to avoid obstacles. It is intended to enable fast and safe table clearing without congestion, even during the morning peak.
The introduction was prompted by labor shortages and the need to improve operating efficiency, as well as the physical burden of table-clearing work when up to 320 guests were expected during the breakfast peak.
Approximately one month after deployment, the robots were handling around 50% of manual table-clearing and transport work. This has reduced the time staff spend traveling to and from the back-of-house area and strengthened support within the venue. The company plans to continue accumulating operational expertise and pursue further reductions in transport work.
