Duskin’s food group has continued to perform well, led by Mister Donut, and the company announced a 60% dividend payout ratio and expanded shareholder benefits. Under Medium-Term Management Policy 2028, the company outlined plans to grow both its door-to-door sales and food businesses.
Duskin has been increasing sales with the food group at its core. Consolidated sales are just under ¥200 billion, with the door-to-door sales and food groups accounting for most of the total. Mister Donut has performed particularly well, contributing to higher earnings across the group. Although Mister Donut was loss-making in the past, a review of its product strategy and sustained initiatives have delivered its current strong performance. The group is expected to remain the main support for overall results going forward.
Price revisions were implemented from July 2022, mainly for some household rental products, in response to higher raw material costs. In April 2026, prices for some mats for business locations were raised to reflect higher raw material and processing costs. Even after the latest revisions, there has been no notable customer attrition, and acceptance of the price increases has been spreading. Under Medium-Term Management Policy 2028, the company aims for ROE of at least 7% while improving sales and profitability.
Medium-Term Management Policy 2028 sets sales of ¥202.9 billion and operating profit of ¥10.1 billion as the current-year plan figures, and targets a ¥19.0 billion increase in consolidated operating profit over 3 years. Growth in the food group, centered on Mister Donut, is a major driver, while investments are also progressing to strengthen peripheral businesses in the door-to-door sales group and introduce RFID. As part of shareholder returns, the company plans to maintain a 60% dividend payout ratio and its DOE level while also giving consideration to financial soundness.
