SSONDA from Korea and OUROBOROS from Japan will unveil their first collaborative model worldwide at Taiwan Creative Expo and offer it for advance sale in Taiwan. A glow-in-the-dark pink photoluminescent carabiner will be introduced, developed and launched for the Taiwanese market.
The collaboration was announced as the first joint product from SSONDONA and OUROBOROS to embody their shared philosophy of “bringing peace of mind into everyday life.” Centered on a carabiner made with photoluminescent resin, the design is intended to convey everyday safety and visible peace of mind at the same time.
The new product adopts “glow-in-the-dark pink,” a new color for the Taiwanese market. It is pink during the day and glows at night, helping users locate bags, keys and other items. The carabiner will feature a co-branded design displaying both brands’ logos.
The product will be offered through an expo venue-exclusive advance sale at Taiwan Creative Expo 2026, with the official launch scheduled for 6 August 2026. Taiwan Creative Expo will be held for 7 days from 6 to 12 August 2026 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center and is attracting attention as an international exhibition covering design and lifestyle.
丸八化成 is a small-scale manufacturer that operates the OUROBOROS brand and is developing products that leverage Japanese injection-molding and photoluminescent technologies. The collaboration is positioned as a first step toward demonstrating value with global appeal through the integration of technology and design.
