AISAN TECHNOLOGY added two wide-angle models with a horizontal field of view of 120 degrees to TIER IV's automotive HDR camera MP Series and began offering them in October. The addition of C1-120MP and C2-120MP expands the area around vehicles that can be monitored.
AISAN TECHNOLOGY added two new wide-angle models, C1-120MP and C2-120MP, to TIER IV's automotive HDR camera MP Series and began sales in October. The cameras are intended for a broad range of applications, including surround monitoring for autonomous vehicles, remote monitoring, and safety checks for industrial machinery.
The two newly added models are C1-120MP, with approximately 2.5 million pixels, and C2-120MP, with approximately 5.4 million pixels. Both have a horizontal field of view of approximately 120 degrees. They can capture a wide area around a vehicle, helping reduce blind spots and provide greater visibility of surrounding conditions.
The cameras support HDR of up to 120 dB, reducing blown-out highlights and crushed blacks in backlit and dark conditions. Sony image sensors are used in the automotive cameras. The cameras support frame rates of up to 30 fps, with GMSL2 enabling video transmission and power supply over a coaxial cable. They comply with IP69K water and dust resistance requirements and operate at temperatures from -40 to 85°C.
In addition to monitoring the surroundings of autonomous vehicles, the cameras are intended for remote operation of construction and agricultural machinery and monitoring conditions at worksites. Going forward, AISAN TECHNOLOGY plans to work with ECU manufacturers and companies developing camera systems for specific applications, providing implementation support and system integration.
