Ryutsu News and ITmedia Inc. announced that they will hold “Retail DX Summit 2026 Fall: Future Strategies for Highly Profitable Stores Created with AI and Data” online from 13:00 on 20 October. The seminar will be live-streamed and participation will be free of charge. It is aimed at users promoting digital transformation in the distribution and retail sectors.
The program will consist of a keynote address and multiple sessions. The keynote will explain the importance of incorporating AI and data into frontline decision-making and operational transformation. It will state that simply introducing AI will not directly lead to higher profits, and that clarifying the value provided to customers and putting data to practical use are required.
The sessions will include a presentation by Salesforce Japan and a special lecture introducing practical initiatives at the forefront of AI and the distribution industry. A report is also scheduled on changes in the purchasing process in the AI era and the role of stores, based on developments in Europe.
The event will be hosted by Ryutsu News, with ITmedia Business Online as co-host. The event will also introduce the latest solutions supporting retail DX and cover trends in digital support from sponsoring companies.
