技術承継機構 is accelerating growth through a model based on acquiring companies without selling them and holding them for the long term. Second-quarter fiscal 2026 results showed substantial increases in both revenue and operating profit, with revenue of ¥13.486 billion and operating profit of ¥2.140 billion.
技術承継機構 has carried out a series of business succession-focused M&A transactions and, despite having only recently listed, is attracting considerable attention in the stock market. Its growth engines are a policy of respecting the independence of acquired companies rather than selling them after a short period, and NGP, which accumulates personnel and know-how within the group.
According to analysis by Izumida Ryosuke (泉田 良輔), the company's strength lies in its permanent-hold model of “buying and never selling,” its investment decisions focused on profitable manufacturers, and its use of leverage, including bank financing. Its specialized manufacturing expertise, combined with its funding advantage, supports the acquisition of new deals.
The target market is estimated at approximately 120,000 profitable companies among Japan's 3.36 million small and medium-sized manufacturers, with calculations indicating that roughly one-third could be potential targets. NGP is the core of the company's growth acceleration strategy, providing multifaceted support including the introduction of on-site 5S and IT tools and the development of personnel evaluation systems.
NGP is a management support program modeled on the Danaher Business System. It holds interviews with all employees within six months of an acquisition and implements business plans over a period of six months to 2 years. The program seeks to enhance value by using group resources to improve everything from day-to-day operations at the worksite to organizational management.
