Asahi Yukizai, a major manufacturer of resin valves, raised its earnings and dividend forecasts against a backdrop of expanding semiconductor investment in Japan and overseas, sending its shares sharply higher from the previous day.
Asahi Yukizai, a major manufacturer of resin valves, extended its gains sharply and raised its earnings and dividend forecasts for the fiscal year ending March 2027 after the close on the 28th. The shares closed at ¥6,460, up ¥360 from the previous day.
The company raised its full-year consolidated operating profit forecast from ¥8.5 billion to ¥12 billion. The strong performance of its core piping materials business and other operations, driven by expanding semiconductor-related investment in Japan and overseas, was cited as the reason.
The dividend forecast was also revised, with both the interim and year-end dividends raised from the previous ¥65 to ¥90. The annual dividend is expected to total ¥180, exceeding the ¥120 recorded in the previous fiscal year.
