The launch in Japan of the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Moab 392 was formally announced at STELLANTIS ALL BRANDS DAY - JAPAN 2026, held at Fuji Speedway in Shizuoka on 3 November 2026. Approximately 3,000 visitors and 1,400 vehicles gathered at the venue, attracting considerable attention.
The new Wrangler is equipped with a 6.4-liter V8 “HEMI” gasoline engine and produces 470 horsepower under North American specifications. Power is delivered to the road through an 8-speed automatic transmission and full-time 4×4 system. It was presented as a high-performance model capable of accelerating its heavy body.
Under North American specifications, the body measures approximately 4,900 mm in length, 2,010 mm in width and 1,920 mm in height. Standard equipment includes approximately 3.5 inches of lift, 17-inch wheels and 35-inch tires, while exclusive decals and a MOAB badge add a distinctive touch.
Exact specifications for the Japanese version, production volume and vehicle price have not been disclosed. In light of the North American base price of around $80,000 and exchange-rate trends, the price in Japan may exceed ¥10 million. Attention is focused on the detailed announcement to come.
