The Switch 2 version of the tag game “Sanrio Characters Miracle Match: Magical Tag” launches on 26 November 2026, adding a new mode and map and supporting local game sharing.
イマジニア announced that, under license from Sanrio, it will release the Nintendo Switch 2 version of “Sanrio Characters Miracle Match: Magical Tag” on 26 November 2026. The game is a team-based action title in which players play tag in a magical world, choosing either the Challengers, who escape, or the Hunters, who chase them.
The Switch 2 version adds the new “Speed Delivery” mode and the new “Sand Island” map, while spring and autumn will also be added to the existing maps as seasonal elements. Players compete for points by using items found on the stages.
The game will also support local game sharing, allowing up to 2 people to play with one Nintendo Switch 2 console and one copy of the software. Some of the new features are also scheduled to be released as paid additional content for the Switch version in the future.
