環境管理センター announced that it had completed registration as a working environment measurement institution to conduct personal exposure measurements. Its registration number is 13-6, and it will continue conducting personal exposure measurements from 1 October 2026 onward.
Under a system change established by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, working environment measurement institutions must obtain additional registration to conduct the design and sampling for personal exposure measurements. The company therefore updated its registration certificate.
The company's measurements involve collecting air near workers' breathing zones to determine their exposure to chemicals and other substances. The results are used to consider exposure reduction measures and support workplace health and safety management.
The company has several qualified personnel who meet the prescribed requirements and can tailor measurement design and sampling to the work being performed at each site. It may also be able to conduct measurements using the personal sampling method and measurements of substances for which concentration limit values have been established.
