A crowdfunding campaign to raise relief funds for the Chiba torrential rain disaster has launched on READYFOR. Organised by CHIIKISHINBUNSHA CO.,LTD., the campaign plans to donate the full amount to Chiba Prefecture, with donations accepted through 20 November.
Following the torrential rain disaster in Chiba Prefecture, CHIIKISHINBUNSHA CO.,LTD. is conducting the Chiba Torrential Rain Disaster Relief Fund Project as a crowdfunding campaign. The support funds will be donated to Chiba Prefecture to assist disaster victims.
The campaign will run from 10 September 2026 to 20 November 2026, with a target amount of ¥1 million. It uses an All-in model, meaning contributions are accepted regardless of whether the target is reached, and the amount remaining after fees are deducted will be donated. The current amount raised is ¥114,000, with 15 supporters and 42 days remaining.
The organiser is CHIIKISHINBUNSHA CO.,LTD., an organisation that operates local community-focused media centred on Chiba Prefecture. It has previously completed crowdfunding campaigns, including a Pink Ribbon campaign and the creation of Kanpai PASS, and plans to support the disaster-hit areas this time by leveraging cooperation among local media outlets.
The project notes that refunds and cancellations are generally not possible once support has been confirmed, and that the conditions for rewards, including their validity periods and naming rights, must be checked separately. Rewards include thank-you emails corresponding to the amount donated.
