今村証券 has announced the introduction of BIMI, which displays its official logo in outgoing emails. It is expected to make legitimate emails easier to verify and help prevent spoofing and phishing fraud.
The system is scheduled to take effect from 13 October 2024. It will apply to emails sent by the company, including new-account-opening guidance and trade-execution completion notifications through its online trading service, “iRoot.”
As part of its security measures, the company is also advancing the introduction of biometric-authentication passkeys and plans to strengthen its measures going forward. BIMI is intended to improve the reliability of its emails.
