アップルインターナショナル shares rose sharply in September. The company announced upward revisions, raising its operating profit forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026 from ¥770 million to ¥930 million and its annual dividend from ¥10 to ¥15. Its overseas used-car export business is reportedly performing well.
アップルインターナショナル shares extended their sharp gains. The move was apparently driven by the company’s announcement the previous day that it had revised its earnings and dividend forecasts upward. The focus of the news is that the dividend increase was announced alongside the earnings improvement.
The operating profit forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026 was raised from the previous forecast of ¥770 million to ¥930 million. Operating profit is expected to increase 64.1% year on year, with growth in the overseas business seen as a source of support amid continued yen depreciation.
At the same time, the annual dividend was raised from the previous plan of ¥10 to ¥15. The resulting improvement in the dividend payout ratio was welcomed by the market.
According to media reports, the company’s overseas used-car export business appears to be performing well. Since an upward revision to first-half results had already been announced, the latest revision is viewed as unlikely to come as a major surprise.
