TOKAI Communications, a subsidiary of TOKAI Holdings, announced that it will begin offering the new “Cho Nattoku Plan” for its LIBMO mobile service from 20 October. The new plan features larger data allowances and enhanced bundle discounts.
The new plan increases data allowances from 3GB to 5GB, 8GB to 10GB, and 30GB to 40GB, respectively. The discount for bundling with a fibre-optic line will be raised from the previous flat rate of ¥220 per month to as much as ¥660 per month depending on the contracted plan, and additional eligible services will be added. The maximum communication speed after exceeding the data allowance will be raised from 200kbps to 300kbps.
The initiative is part of the Triple Accel strategy under the Medium-Term Management Plan 2028 and is intended to drive growth in consumer information and communications. The company aims to improve group-wide asset efficiency and earnings power and increase the number of contracted services per household by providing greater added value and a sense of affordability.
