NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS and Classiq reached a basic agreement on a strategic business alliance aimed at industrial applications of quantum computing. Through joint proposals, the companies will provide an end-to-end environment covering the development through execution of quantum algorithms.
NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS Co., Ltd. and クラシック・テクノロジーズ合同会社 reached a basic agreement on a strategic business alliance aimed at promoting the use of quantum computing in industry. Through the proposal and sale of the quantum development platform provided by Classiq, NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS aims to establish an environment in which companies can use quantum computing.
Under the alliance, the companies will jointly assess and provide an environment using the Classiq platform that enables end-to-end development through execution of quantum algorithms. The companies will seek optimal solutions to customers' operational challenges and advance use-case development and demonstrations.
The respective roles will be as follows: NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS will handle proposals and sales of the Classiq platform, as well as the development and demonstration of use cases for quantum applications, while Classiq will provide the platform, expertise in quantum algorithms and software technologies, and technical support.
Going forward, the companies aim to accelerate the implementation of quantum solutions in society by advancing assessments of applications across a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, finance, logistics and the public sector.
