According to the earnings summary released by 扶桑化学工業 after the market close on 30 October, ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter (April-September) rose 36.2% year on year to ¥13.3 billion, while revenue increased.
The full-year ordinary profit forecast was raised 14.7% from ¥24.5 billion to ¥28.1 billion, with the projected growth rate increasing from the previous outlook of 25.2% to 43.6%. The record-high profit forecast was raised again.
Based on the company's announcement and our estimates, second-half ordinary profit is expected to be ¥14.7 billion, with progress also shown alongside first-half results.
In the latest three-month period, ordinary profit for the July-September quarter increased to ¥6.99 billion, while the revenue margin improved from 26.5% to 31.3%.
