A launch event was held for the Japan-exclusive 12-color eyeshadow palette “PD Explorer 25 Warm Deer (Bambi Palette),” where Kaori Nagai demonstrated makeup looks using the palette.
Yatsen Beauty Japan, which operates the cosmetics brand PERFECT DIARY, held a launch event for the Japan-exclusive PD Explorer 12-Color Eyeshadow 25 Warm Deer palette, also known as the “Bambi Palette.” In addition to an introduction to the brand and an explanation of the product, hair and makeup artist Kaori Nagai took the stage and demonstrated how to use the palette.
The palette comprises 12 colors centered on low-saturation apricot shades. It is designed for multiple uses, including blush, contouring, highlighter, eyebrow makeup and concealer, in addition to eyeshadow. The built-in film lists the use of each color, while the included double-ended brush combines a blending brush and a flat liner brush.
In the demonstration, Kaori Nagai presented an “adult euphoric Bambi makeup” look using sheer red shades. She explained how to use the built-in film, the usability of the brush, and techniques for refining shading and lines. Specific makeup steps tailored to different color combinations were also shown.
Lip and base makeup products other than the palette were also introduced at the event. The lip product is the “Bio Lip Essence Lipstick Moisture Film Lip (Gloss),” which uses Biotec technology and is priced at ¥3,300 in stores and ¥3,960 online. Base makeup products included the “Long-Lasting UV Balm Cushion Foundation,” as well as a powder in a limited-edition shade.
