インドネシア総研 has been contracted to operate Balapapat Japanese School, part of a major Indonesian hotel group, and has introduced dedicated training classes for Japanese companies. The organizations announced that they will launch a new model in earnest, beginning training locally before hiring and aiming to ensure workers are ready to contribute immediately after arriving in Japan.
インドネシア総合研究所 (インドネシア総研) announced that it has been contracted to operate Balapapat Japanese School (LPK Balapapat), part of Sahid Group, and to handle Japan-facing liaison services. Rather than training the personnel Japanese companies need after hiring them and placing them in the workplace, the organization will establish a new training model built around education provided locally in Indonesia.
Under the new training model, candidates will be selected, receive Japanese-language and specified skilled worker training, undergo practical training in hotel operations and services, and then complete a company-specific curriculum before entering Japan and moving into frontline work as immediately effective personnel. Education staff in Japan will also be able to participate in classes online.
The initiative has 3 key strengths: using actual operational sites as training facilities, the ability to establish dedicated training classes for individual Japanese companies, and thorough instruction in the rules and discipline of daily life for working in Japan. Through these measures, the initiative aims to reduce the burden on Japanese companies’ workplaces and support long-term personnel development.
A framework for site visits and consultations has also been established. During on-site visits, companies can observe classes, practical training and accommodation facilities, and speak directly with prospective hires. Companies will then be able to move smoothly toward designing training programs dedicated to their own needs.
