ASTENA HOLDINGS announced changes to the method for determining tiers under its shareholder benefit program. The new determination will be based on the number of shares held as of the end of May and the end of November each year, as well as the number of years of continuous ownership. The applicable shareholding tiers are 500 shares or more, 1,000 shares or more, and 3,000 shares or more held continuously. The changes will apply from the record date at the end of November 2027, and shareholdings before that date will not be included.
ASTENA HOLDINGS announced changes to the method for determining tiers under its shareholder benefit program. Under the new system, the record dates used to determine benefit tiers will be based not only on shareholdings at the end of November, as before, but also on entries in the shareholder registry at the end of May and the end of November each year.
The new determination will use 2 criteria: years of continuous ownership and the number of shares held continuously. Years of continuous ownership will be determined by the number of consecutive times the shareholder number is recorded as of the end of May and the end of November, with 3 or more entries deemed to represent 1 year or more and 7 or more entries deemed to represent 3 years or more. The number of shares held continuously will be determined based on whether the shareholder has continuously maintained holdings in the tiers of 500 shares or more, 1,000 shares or more, and 3,000 shares or more at both dates.
The changes will take effect with the record date set at the end of November 2027, and shareholdings will begin to be checked from the end of November 2026. The first determination will be for the shareholder benefits at the end of November 2027, with eligibility and the applicable tier determined based on shareholdings at the end of November 2026, the end of May 2027, and the end of November 2027. There will be no changes to the benefit details or the applicable shareholding tiers following the system revision.
