Suzuki’s new kei passenger EV, e SKY, is reportedly scheduled for a formal announcement on 6 October 2026. Detailed reports cover its body dimensions, comparisons with the Alto and the influence of the concept vehicle.
Suzuki’s new kei passenger EV, e SKY, is positioned as the company’s first kei passenger EV ahead of its formal announcement on 6 October 2026. The vehicle is named e SKY and is attracting attention as an everyday means of transport for households, following the kei commercial EV e Every.
The new e SKY is reported to measure 3395mm in overall length, 1475mm in overall width, 1625mm in overall height and 2460mm in wheelbase. While its dimensions are the same as the Alto’s, it is distinguished by its overall height, which is designed to be 100mm taller. The exterior incorporates grille-less, EV-style design elements while being refined into a friendly design reminiscent of the Alto.
The basic form of the production model retains the influence of the Vision e SKY concept model shown at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show. Although minor changes have been made to features such as the U-shaped light design, the vehicle has been refined into a design that tones down its futuristic character and blends into everyday surroundings.
The latest reports also mention that Suzuki has already launched the kei commercial EV e Every, emphasising that the e SKY will be the company’s first kei passenger EV.
