RemitAid has introduced Rakuyasu Payments: Transfers to future Globalhop, フューチャーショップ's service supporting listings on overseas marketplaces. A system has been launched enabling Japanese e-commerce operators to process the receipt of sales proceeds from overseas marketplaces and their transfer into yen in a single process.
RemitAid announced that it has introduced Rakuyasu Payments: Transfers through future Globalhop, フューチャーショップ's service supporting listings on overseas marketplaces. This is expected to streamline the process for Japanese e-commerce operators to receive sales proceeds from overseas marketplaces and transfer them in yen.
future Globalhop supports listings on Taiwan's one of the largest e-commerce marketplaces, momo購物網, as well as Shopee in Taiwan and Singapore. Japanese operators will be able to sell overseas through its store specializing in Japanese brands without establishing a local entity or entering into individual contracts.
Through Rakuyasu Payments: Transfers, フューチャーショップ exchanges sales proceeds received in US dollars from overseas marketplaces into yen and transfers them to each operator. This eliminates the need for individual transfers by each operator, with sales proceeds based on sales performance delivered in yen.
In addition to preparations such as translation, logistics, customs clearance, and local support, cross-border e-commerce also involves practical challenges including the receipt of sales proceeds, foreign exchange, and transfers. This implementation is expected to reduce the administrative burden after a sale is made.
RemitAid plans to continue reducing the burden of receiving funds, foreign exchange, transfers, and verification in overseas transactions, while creating an environment in which companies promoting cross-border e-commerce can focus on their core sales activities.
