Taiyo Yuden announced the start of mass production of its wire-wound metal power inductor, the "LSEL series." As an MCOIL, the series will comprise 3 items and may contribute to lower power consumption in the power circuits of AI PCs and other products.
Taiyo Yuden has launched mass production of the "LSEL series" as a new line of wire-wound metal power inductors. The company is proceeding with the commercialization of 3 items, including LSELC2016KKTR24M0N, with dimensions of 2.0×1.6×1.0 mm and a maximum height of 1.0 mm.
The new series is intended for expanded sales in choke-coil applications for power circuits in NPU-equipped AI PCs and other products. It is said to feature a low-resistance design that replaces the previous LSENC2016KKTR model.
