Kotobukiya will reissue the popular figure HORROR BISHOUJO Sadako in May 2027. Priced at ¥19,800, the 1/7-scale figure features replacement parts that allow two facial expressions to be displayed.
Kotobukiya announced that “HORROR BISHOUJO Sadako” will be reissued in May 2027. Priced at ¥19,800, it will be released as a 1/7-scale figure.
Two facial expressions can be selected by replacing parts: the standard mode, with Sadako’s face covered by her long black hair, and a lonely yet beautiful expression with her eyes peering through the strands. The white dress is reproduced in clear material to convey the translucency of wet clothing.
Two rolls of decoration tape, including spare tape, are packaged in a video-tape-style box. The presentation allows users to recreate a scene set inside the well.
Other iconic elements of Sadako are also reproduced, including the supernatural effect of her floating in the well and her gaze through her hair.
The product is a delicate BISHOUJO adaptation by Shunya Yamashita (山下しゅんや), with a distinctive place within the HORROR BISHOUJO series.
