At Dyson Unveiled in Berlin, Germany, Dyson unveiled a range of new products designed to evolve into intelligent devices that understand and respond to their surroundings. Dyson’s chief engineer attended the event, where new products were introduced in oral care, robot vacuums, air purification and hair care.
Dyson CameraJet combines a toothbrush with interdental care and a mouthwash function. It features a 100,000-pixel macro lens and Gap Optical Targeting technology. A machine-learning system analyzes 28 images per second, detects interdental spaces in real time and projects a jet of water. It supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and the MyDyson app provides guidance on areas that have been missed while brushing.
The Dyson Nurovi series is a robot vacuum that combines Neural Intelligence technology with a vision system. Dyson also announced the Dyson W1 PencilWash, an evolution of its wet-floor cleaner, with improved water absorption and a self-cleaning charging stand. Its launch timing in Japan has not been determined, although the materials indicate that it is expected around autumn.
The HushJet air-purifier series uses a ventilation architecture inspired by aircraft noise-reduction technology. In hair care, Dyson announced the Dyson Corrale CoolShine hair straightener and Dyson Airsmooth hot brush. Corrale CoolShine features cooling pipes designed to reduce heat damage and enhance shine, while Airsmooth uses dual brushes and airflow technology to create a natural finish. The launch timing in Japan has not been determined.
