Fukuyama Transporting announced that it will apply the 2026 Freight Rates from 2 November, representing an increase of approximately 20% from the FY2024 rates. In addition, the holiday delivery surcharge will be revised, with the charge per pickup or delivery rising from the current ¥200 to ¥250.
Fukuyama Transporting formally announced that it will apply the new filed freight rates, the “2026 Freight Rates,” from 2 November. The revision is expected to increase rates by approximately 20%, depending on distance and weight.
The holiday delivery surcharge will also be revised, applying to pickups and deliveries made from 23 November. The surcharge per item will rise from the current ¥200 to ¥250.
The company had worked to maintain its rate levels through management rationalisation and operational efficiency improvements, but decided on the revision in light of tighter limits on truck drivers’ overtime hours and rising vehicle maintenance costs.
