The fiscal 2026 new-employee skills presentation event was held at the company's Ability Development Center in Toyama, attracting approximately 400 visitors, including family members and school officials, in addition to 61 new employees. The presentations were conducted by the power distribution, overhead transmission and transformation, indoor wiring, and air-conditioning and plumbing divisions, which showcased the results of six months of technical and skills training.
Alongside the presentations, visitors could view and experience areas featuring VR hazard simulations and an aerial work platform, as well as a commercial drone demonstration. The event was arranged to allow visitors to see a range of demonstrations.
Visitors also toured the multipurpose accommodation building “Hidamari,” completed on the site in July, and were shown the completed facilities.
The event was held as an opportunity for new employees to demonstrate the results of their technical training before their families, and was positioned as part of the company's efforts to develop engineers and introduce its operational structure.
