Nomura Real Estate Holdings has launched TOKYO BLUE LINC, a mixed-use residential and commercial development comprising approximately 780 housing units in Monzen-nakacho. The land is owned by Institute of Science Tokyo and will be subject to a 70-year fixed-term land leasehold.
The project is a large-scale development in Monzen-nakacho, Koto-ku, Tokyo, integrating condominiums for sale, rental senior residences and commercial facilities, with 780 total housing units. A key feature is that Nomura Real Estate will handle the planning, development and operation of the assets on an integrated basis.
The condominium development for sale, PROUD CITY Monzen-nakacho, is located in a highly convenient area, a 7-minute walk from Monzen-nakacho Station on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line and a 3-minute walk from Etchujima Station on the JR Keiyo Line. It features ship-inspired design elements and shared facilities.
OUKAS Monzen-nakacho, a rental senior residence, is designed to help extend healthy life expectancy. It will include a large communal bath, a café and lounge, and will allow pets in some units. The site will also include more than 1,500 square meters of commercial space, with the aim of improving convenience for the local community.
The project will promote the development of shared community facilities and community-building through Be ACTO. It is positioned as a new urban development model combining the utilization of university assets with the expertise of a private-sector developer.
The combination of asset utilization by an educational institution and housing supply close to central Tokyo may contribute to enhancing long-term value in the local community.
