リゾートトラスト announced that it will partner with 三菱商事 on overseas operations. The companies plan to strengthen medical-related services and expand businesses targeting foreign visitors to Japan. Group company アドバンスト・メディカル・ケア (Minato, Tokyo) will conduct a third-party allotment of new shares to 三菱商事 and enter into a capital and business alliance.
Specifically, the companies plan to strengthen sales of supplements and cosmetics using 三菱商事's domestic and overseas distribution networks, while developing medical facilities in cooperation with local partners. The plans also include expanding businesses targeting foreign visitors to Japan and promoting personnel exchanges.
The companies plan to deepen their collaboration, including by establishing a jointly funded company in 2025 to provide advanced medical tourism. They aim to increase operating profit from healthcare-related businesses from ¥8.2 billion in FY2025 to approximately ¥20 billion in FY2034.
