Logitech unveiled a new generation of gaming devices at the Logicool G PLAY 2026 event held on 24 September. The products ranged from the entry-level G3 series to the PRO series, developed in collaboration with esports players. The announcement covered 4 product categories: mice, mousepads, keyboards and headsets, marking the starting point for a future reorganization of the lineup.
The company announced plans to launch the PRO X2 and PRO X3 simultaneously and sell them in parallel, with the PRO X3 positioned as the premium model and the PRO X2 as the basic model. While some aspects of the development period and technical background remain confidential, the company explained that the announcement was intended to maximize its impact on the market.
Regarding US-layout keyboards in the Japanese market, the company said it would not offer them in Japan for the time being, although it may consider introducing them if demand expands. Settings will primarily be managed through G HUB, while the timing for introducing a web driver remains undecided. The company also expressed its strong recognition of the importance of the Japanese market.
Logitech G described Japan as “a highly important market that drives trends” and emphasized its policy of continuing to provide products that meet the needs of Japanese gamers. Members of the general public were also invited to the event, and the company expressed its ambition to continue growing as a brand that influences Japan’s gaming culture.
