“Exabase AI for Agricultural Cooperatives” is now available to the JA Group. Based on implementation experience across the JA Group, the service includes more than 30 AI agents as standard and aims to improve operational efficiency from day one.
The generative AI service “Exabase AI for Agricultural Cooperatives,” dedicated to the JA Group, has been launched, making more than 30 AI agents available from the first day of implementation for organizations including JA Shinnoren, JA Kyosairen, JA Koseiren and JA Zenchu. The background to the launch includes the need to address labor shortages and operational diversity across the JA Group, which comprises 490 comprehensive agricultural cooperatives nationwide and approximately 10.15 million members.
The agents cover tasks including financial analysis, rules and regulations inquiries, and flyer creation. They are provided in forms suited to the operations of each JA Group organization for use in frontline operations. From a security perspective, the service generally prohibits the use of input data for model training and processes data domestically; access permissions can also be configured by department.
Implementation examples at organizations including JA Yamaguchi Prefecture show efforts to improve digital literacy in frontline operations and automate and streamline work, alongside ongoing hands-on support, with the aim of fostering a culture of AI use among employees.
Since launching as a paid service in 2023, Exabase AI has been adopted by approximately 1,700 companies and 150,000 users. New features such as “Buddy Agent” are scheduled to be offered from the end of October 2026. The company aims to strengthen data-linkage and output-integration functions while maintaining its position as the No. 1 service in the domestic market.
