The official Japanese distributor for US-based iZotope has announced Photon, a new GPU-accelerated software product. It supports direct video-file import and enables fast, automated audio repair on a local GPU.
メディア・インテグレーション, the official Japanese import distributor for US-based iZotope, has announced Photon, a new product. Photon is GPU-accelerated and automatically performs audio processing on a local GPU simply by allowing users to select from 12 machine-learning models. Repair functions, including Cinema 4 Stems, are designed around the selection of a named situation.
Photon supports direct import and export of video files, allowing video playback to be displayed simultaneously in a pop-up window while audio processing is underway. Users can adjust the intensity of separation and noise reduction in real time and proceed with processing while listening to previews.
All processing is performed on a local GPU, eliminating upload wait times and concerns about external data transmission, with particular consideration given to confidential data. Japanese-language display is also supported, positioning Photon as an alternative interface to RX.
A cross-grade plan is available for RX Advanced users, with onboarding starting at ¥8,500 including tax. This information is presented on the official website.
