OKAMURA steel furniture made using NIPPON STEEL’s GX steel NSCarbolex Neutral has been adopted at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building and installed near the entrances to the offices on the 19th and 20th floors. Tokyo is promoting its adoption as part of a support program for creating green products that promote decarbonization.
OKAMURA steel furniture incorporating NIPPON STEEL’s GX steel NSCarbolex Neutral, consisting of 2 shelving units for displaying leaflets, has been installed near the entrances to the offices on the north side of the 19th floor and the south side of the 20th floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building No. 1.
Tokyo is implementing a decarbonization support program to promote the creation of green products using carbon footprints and other tools. The selection of the GX promotion activities of NIPPON STEEL and OKAMURA as eligible businesses for FY2026 support is positioned as part of efforts to achieve Zero Emission Tokyo 2050.
