The National Hospital Organization Wakayama Hospital held Everyone’s Health Fair 2026 for the first time in 7 years to support local residents in improving their health. The event was held on the 5th on the first floor of the Okuwa Roman City Gobo store in Gobo, attracting many local residents.
The event featured health checks, including lung age measurements, blood pressure measurements, body composition measurements and breast cancer self-checks, as well as nursing and welfare consultations, an infectious disease prevention quiz and a children’s pharmacist experience. Some children took part in the pharmacist experience wearing white coats.
During the children’s pharmacist experience, participants selected confectionery made to resemble prescription medicines and experienced packaging it in individual bags using a dispensing machine. Families who took part learned about the role of medicines through the activity, while parents received precautions and passed them on to their children.
