On 1 October, イズミ held a job-offer ceremony in Hiroshima Prefecture for 103 people scheduled to join the company next spring. Representatives of the job-offer recipients and other participants spoke about their aspirations. Inoue Kurumi (井上くるみ), one of the recipients, said she wanted to value things that cannot be replaced by machines or digital technology.
At the ceremony, President Machida Shigeki (町田繁樹) delivered remarks and explained the company’s plan to build a 300-store network by FY2030, urging the recipients to boldly take on new challenges. After joining the company, the recipients are expected to be assigned to one of the 264 stores operated by the イズミ Group.
