NSMK, the South Korean subsidiary of Nippon Sanso Holdings, established its second manufacturing site, the Inju Factory, in Asan's Inju District and began producing products including the semiconductor materials gas diborane and electronic materials products.
Nippon Sanso Holdings announced that its South Korean operating company, NSMK, had established and begun operating the Inju Factory, a site in Asan's Inju District manufacturing semiconductor materials gases and electronic materials products. The Inju Factory will serve as the core of an integrated production system with the existing Eumbong Factory and will be the company's second manufacturing site in the city. The opening ceremony was held on 3 September 2026.
The Inju Factory will manufacture and supply semiconductor materials gases, including diborane (B2H6), and electronic materials products. The company is expected to increase its supply capacity for South Korean semiconductor manufacturers in response to rising demand.
NSMK will transition to integrated operations at its existing factory in Eumbong District and the Inju Factory. By using the 2 sites in an integrated manner, it intends to expand its production system and stabilise supplies of semiconductor materials gases and electronic materials products.
The Inju Factory also includes infrastructure designed to support future business expansion. Through growth in its electronic materials business and reinforcement of its stable supply system, the company aims to respond to rising demand in the South Korean market.
