Cloudbase has published the Japan Autonomy scores for its products. Cloudbase announced on 1 September that it had joined NCPC as a regular member, with total Japan Autonomy scores of 2,489 points for Cloudbase and 2,473 points for Cloudbase AI.
Cloudbase株式会社 announced on 1 September 2026 that it had joined NCPC (Japan Cybersecurity Industry Promotion Community) as a regular member. NCPC is an organization focused on visualizing the security and improving the reliability of products and services in Japan, and assesses a new indicator of domestic origin called “Japan Autonomy.”
Japan Autonomy is an indicator that assesses domestic autonomy. Against a backdrop of geopolitical risks and cyber threats, it measures and visualizes substantive domestic autonomy rather than the location of a company’s base. The assessment covers 5 dimensions: corporate attributes and reliability; governance and legal rights; development lifecycle autonomy; infrastructure and data controls; and emergency response and incident management.
Japan Autonomy scores were also calculated and published for Cloudbase’s “Cloudbase” and “Cloudbase AI” products. Their total scores were 2,489 points and 2,473 points, respectively, with the assessment across the 5 dimensions including points for domestic origin. Both products received full marks in 3 specific dimensions: corporate attributes and reliability; development lifecycle autonomy; and emergency response and incident management.
