Mitsui-Soko Holdings is pursuing a transformation that advances the digitalisation of logistics and autonomous-driving trials simultaneously. The company is undertaking fundamental restructuring centred on DX, including investments based on its medium-term plan and the rollout of new services.
Mitsui-Soko Holdings is strengthening its frontline DX strategy as part of efforts to digitalise the logistics industry. Against a backdrop of challenges including driver shortages and visibility into delivery arrivals, the company is consolidating multiple modes of transport and conducting autonomous-driving trials, aiming to optimise the supply chain in collaboration with shippers and consumers.
Under Medium-Term Management Plan 2022, the company plans to invest ¥20 billion over the next 5 years and drive transformation from both offensive and defensive perspectives. Through initiatives including the development of a data-sharing platform and the creation of new services such as SustainaLink and LVL, it is promoting CO2 emissions reductions and the digitalisation of logistics.
The company is also building its organisation through measures including the promotion of data-driven management and the establishment of an AI Promotion Office, accelerating management decision-making. Its selection for DX Stocks 2026 has also been announced, recognising efforts to improve frontline efficiency and address social issues through digitalisation.
