Atelier UKAI Sentir's first Kansai store has opened at Hankyu Umeda Main Store. Featuring an in-store kitchen, it offers freshly baked cookies made daily, along with seasonal baked goods and fresh cakes.
A new store from the popular sweets shop Atelier UKAI opened on 23 October in the Western Confectionery section on basement level 1 of Hankyu Umeda Main Store. Queues formed from the first day, and the store was busy with many visitors. Following a long-term event-store presence, it opened as a permanent store with the first in-store kitchen in Kansai.
The 6-cookie ¥1,801 set of freshly baked cookies made daily in the in-store kitchen is available exclusively at Hankyu, with 2 flavours introduced. These include a variety topped with fruit jam and a cheese and savoury variety designed to pair with alcoholic drinks. The contents are scheduled to change approximately once a month.
The A and B sets available at opening include crumbly maple cookies that melt like sand. Slow baking at a low temperature brings out their milky flavour. A range of other products is also available, including seasonal fruit cut cakes from ¥1,061, cookie tins and assorted baked goods.
