NTT DATA Group released its consolidated results for April-June 2026. Revenue rose 16% year on year to ¥1.2789 trillion and operating profit increased 10% to ¥63.4 billion, resulting in higher revenue and profit. Order intake increased 30% to ¥1.4603 trillion, driven in part by the acquisition of large-scale projects, indicating a strong start overall.
Revenue in the Japan segment rose 10% to ¥501.7 billion, while operating profit increased 28% to ¥45.1 billion. The segment achieved higher revenue and profit in the three areas of public and social infrastructure, financial services, and corporate business. Order intake rose 17% to ¥610.4 billion, supported by the acquisition of large-scale projects.
Revenue in the overseas segment increased 21% to ¥792.1 billion, with all units recording higher revenue, while operating profit declined 5% to ¥14.3 billion. The exclusion of data center usage fee revenue from the scope of consolidation, along with factors seen to date, weighed on profit.
Looking ahead, the company also referred to plans for NTT DATA to raise its ownership stake in NTT Marketing Act ProCX to 51% in October 2026. It said it aims to generate revenue of ¥100 billion in FY2030 by expanding its AI-enabled BPO business. In addition, the company has set a target of increasing EBITDA by 50% over the five-year period from FY2025 through FY2030. It said its full-year forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 remains unchanged, with revenue of ¥5.19 trillion and operating profit of ¥470 billion expected.
