NIPPON KINZOKU CO.,LTD. announced that it had certified T-Bar, a key component of grating products, under its environmentally considerate product brand “Fine Eco Metal®” and would strengthen supply and sales. The move clarifies T-Bar’s positioning as part of the Eco Product series and is intended to accelerate efforts to reduce environmental impact.
The company explains that its proprietary welding technology allows stainless-steel T-Bar to be designed with a broad walking surface while reducing its cross-sectional area, achieving approximately 10% weight reduction under the same dimensions and gap conditions. The weight reduction is expected to reduce material use and CO2 emissions during transportation.
The company also highlights its ability to improve slip resistance for safety by applying a range of proprietary designs to the top surface. In addition to standard sizes, its lineup includes flat steel products with proprietary designs and angles specifically for grating. It emphasizes more than 40 years of experience and a stable supply system.
In parallel, the company has established its 11th Management Plan, “NIPPON KINZOKU 2030,” and plans to promote product development centered on Multi & Hybrid Material and Near Net Shape/Performance. Through these efforts, it aims to expand the product lineup under the Fine Eco Metal® brand.
