ultim8 planned and produced “Fanris,” a web media platform launched by Sagami Rubber Industries. Its content examines and resolves everyday anxieties and frustrations, with the stated aim of communicating the importance of condoms to younger people and women.
The new media platform “Fanris,” launched by Sagami Rubber Industries on 1 October 2026, was established with ultim8, the operator of HerGoope, handling its planning and production as well as content direction. Fanris is being developed as a web media platform that examines and resolves anxieties, frustrations and inconveniences.
The platform’s primary purpose is to communicate to younger people and women that condoms are useful not only for contraception but also for preventing sexually transmitted infections. It is positioned as an initiative to refresh perceptions of condoms and deliver knowledge that helps protect people’s bodies and futures.
The content features Chuna, a young female employee of Sagami Rubber Industries, and Dako-senpai, who is in her fourth year with the company. They are designed to examine and share relatable questions, such as “What is this actually like?”, from the same perspective as the readers.
Building on the planning capabilities that originally earned the project a Bronze Award at Femtech Japan Innovation Pitch 2026, Sagami Rubber Industries and ultim8 have stated that they will work together to communicate the intrinsic value of condoms through the new media platform.
