CyberStep's Japanese-style MMO ONIGIRI and sandbox game TERAVIT are launching a collaboration. The collaboration will roll out from 1 October 2026, featuring an Onigashima-themed mini-game, limited-edition skins and the Creators Grand Prix.
The collaboration will launch on Thursday, 1 October 2026, bringing the world of the Japanese-style MMO action RPG ONIGIRI into TERAVIT. As a pre-event celebration, a mini-game world recreating Onigashima will be released, along with a campaign offering skins of popular ONIGIRI characters.
The collaboration world will allow players to chat with friends and play a mini-game to recover items stolen by daruma yokai. Limited-edition skin parts can be obtained based on the number of items recovered. Collaboration-exclusive skin effects will also be available.
Collaboration skins of ONIGIRI's friendly characters Yoshitsune, Miroku and Ibaraki-dōji will appear in the TERAVIT marketplace. They will be available from after the 1 October 2026 update through 3 December, including skins with special effects based on the characters' faces.
The Creators Grand Prix will also be held, inviting entries for games created in TERAVIT around the theme of ONIGIRI. Four new skins and the previously distributed Shizuka Gozen can be used to create worlds, and the total value of prizes equivalent to incentive payments is expected to be ¥10,000.
Collaboration NPCs will also appear in ONIGIRI for a limited time, synchronized with Onigashima in TERAVIT. ONIGIRI's anniversary event, the ONIGIRI 13th Anniversary Celebration, will take place during the same period, and players will be able to experience a recreated version of its world in TERAVIT.
