The products will be introduced at TOPPAN’s booth at TOKYO PACK 2026.
The TOPPAN Group launched ReLayer, a new brand covering base films made with recycled resin, on 14 October 2026. Alongside its lineup of recycled-material films, the group is establishing a supply system aimed at achieving a resource-recycling society and responding to environmental regulations in Japan and overseas. An overview is scheduled to be presented on the announcement date at TOPPAN’s booth at TOKYO PACK 2026, held at Tokyo Big Sight.
ReLayer covers major resin types such as PE, PP, PET and PA, and offers a lineup for a range of packaging applications through the combined use of mechanically recycled and chemically recycled materials. The group operates a mass-balance system and has obtained ISCC PLUS certification, stating that it will secure a highly traceable supply system.
Going forward, the group plans to provide recycled-material films to manufacturers in Japan and overseas and promote the adoption of resource-recycling packaging. In addition to targeting sales of approximately ¥40 billion across food and non-food applications by fiscal 2031, it plans to expand the lineup, including post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials.
For TOKYO PACK 2026, the event is scheduled to run from 14 to 16 October 2026 at Tokyo Big Sight’s East Halls. TOPPAN will exhibit in booth 2R10 in East Hall 2.
