The afternoon comments cover the share-price movements of ASAHIPEN CORPORATION, Ichigo, パンチ工業, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, 川崎汽船 and HEROZ. Each company has announced revisions to its earnings or changes to its target price.
ASAHIPEN CORPORATION raised its consolidated operating profit forecast for FY2027 from the previous ¥1.0 billion to ¥1.05 billion. It also raised its first-half forecast for April to September from ¥530 million to ¥580 million. The company said the increase was driven by the addition of a subsidiary handling clock-related products and stronger demand for petroleum-based products.
Ichigo lowered SBI Securities’ target price from ¥650 to ¥630. While concerns were expressed over the impact of rising interest rates, progress in asset sales was viewed positively, supported by measures including setup initiatives. High levels of gains on sales are expected to continue, although the net profit forecast was partially revised.
パンチ工業’s automation business, FA, was selected as a project adopted under “Next Edge Tokyo.” Following the selection, the company will strengthen its sales activities, participate in trade shows and pursue synergies through partnerships, strengthening the value it provides through automation, mainly to companies in Tokyo. The impact on the share price was considered limited.
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines raised its target price from ¥8,600 to ¥10,000 following a review by Mizuho Securities. The company’s earnings growth in energy and automobile carriers was viewed positively, and its ordinary profit forecast for FY2027 was improved.
