In addition to introducing a clean-diesel engine in 2013 and refreshing the front fascia in 2019, Mitsubishi Motors has strengthened the Delica D:5's product appeal by giving it a more SUV-oriented exterior and equipping it with the S-AWC integrated vehicle dynamics control system in 2026.
These initiatives have helped the company acquire new customers and retain the continued support of owners of successive Delica models, resulting in sales exceeding the same period of the previous year for 6 consecutive years since the first half of fiscal 2020.
