Salesforce announced Claudeforce, a new plugin integrating its CRM with Claude. The company unveiled a system that allows deal preparation to be completed within Claude, while earnings announced the same day showed valuation gains on its Anthropic stake boosting profit.
On 26 August, Salesforce announced Claudeforce, an expanded partnership with Anthropic, and said it would offer a plugin that enables its CRM to be operated directly within Claude. In its earnings announcement the same day, Salesforce showed that valuation gains on strategic investments had significantly boosted profit, suggesting that the value of its stake in Anthropic is affecting its earnings structure.
The offering, Salesforce in Claude, comes with 37 sales skills pre-integrated, allowing users to query, update and process CRM data from Claude’s interface. Conversely, with Claude in Salesforce, Claude functions as part of Agentforce’s reasoning engine, providing equivalent functionality through dual entry points in Salesforce and Claude.
The pilot was already underway as of August 2026, with the open beta scheduled for September and additional skills to be introduced sequentially from the second half of 2026. The 37 skills are an initial set, and Salesforce is expected to define and expand their scope.
