Daiwa House Industry announced the launch of its new wood-frame detached home product “GRAN SESSION.” There are 200 basic layout plans, and the company flexibly accepts requests to add attached structures and change building materials and design elements such as doors. The base building price is approximately ¥44 million for a total floor area of 160 sq. m., excluding tax. Sales will cover 22 prefectures, with a target of 500 homes sold annually.
The new product uses insulation Grade 6, in line with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s standards scheduled to be raised in April 2027. The standard ceiling height is 2.6 meters.
Until now, the company had focused on selling wood-frame detached homes priced at ¥50 million or more, offering a high degree of customization. It has kept the same degree of customization while bringing prices down to the ¥40 million range. In conjunction with the reorganization of its domestic detached-home sales offices in April 2027, the company aims to expand its customer base in urban areas.
