真鍋造機, which manufactures deck machinery for ships, announced that it had entered into a purchase agreement with robotics developer ROBO-HI and will introduce an ultra-heavy-duty transport vehicle equipped with remote-control functionality. The new vehicle is scheduled for delivery to the company's plant at the end of November.
The transport vehicle has a maximum payload capacity of 70 tons and is designed to allow operators to control it remotely from a safe location, even in confined spaces and complex work environments.
At the site, large components and structures are routinely moved and transported between processes. The introduction of the vehicle is intended to improve transport efficiency and the working environment.
Building on this introduction, the two companies aim to deepen their collaboration and improve the efficiency and safety of on-site heavy-load transport operations.
