MAX announced that it will establish a Technical Research Center, provisionally named, on the premises of its Tamamura Plant in Kawai, Tamamura, Gunma Prefecture. The center is intended to enhance product development capabilities and accelerate the time required to bring new products to market. The investment will total ¥7 billion, with completion planned for fiscal 2028.
The center will be built on the former site of a logistics warehouse at the Tamamura Plant. It will be a two-story steel-frame building with a total floor area of approximately 5,300 square meters.
The design and development division is based at the Tamamura Plant, and the new facility is expected to consolidate the core product development functions at the site.
