株式会社ゴリラマウンテン, which specializes in renovating vacant homes, has partnered with AlbaLink to launch the new YouTube channel “Viewing Gorilla: Road to Becoming a Real Estate Tycoon.” The initiative will put solutions to the vacant-home problem into practice and assess them through activities including establishing a base in Kitakyushu and acquiring 4 properties.
株式会社ゴリラマウンテン and listed real estate company AlbaLink will launch a new initiative to renovate vacant and distressed properties across Japan and document and share the process on video. The new channel, “Viewing Gorilla: Road to Becoming a Real Estate Tycoon,” will show the process from purchasing and renovating properties through to putting them to use and generating revenue.
The companies will promote an initiative that treats vacant homes not only as a social issue but also as a business opportunity, guided by AlbaLink’s mission of “zero vacant homes by 2100” and 株式会社ゴリラマウンテン’s policy of “re-editing value.” Going forward, they plan to make visible the practical process of purchasing and reselling vacant homes across Japan and generating revenue from them.
As part of establishing a base for the new business, 株式会社ゴリラマウンテン plans to relocate its head office from Tokyo to Kitakyushu. It will make Kitakyushu the base for its vacant-home renovation business and establish the related subsidiary 八広不動産 to integrate its activities.
